HOLIDAY fun at Haslemere Museum included a Roman-themed family event last Tuesday.
“It went very well with nearly 100 people attending,” education officer Kay topping said.
“There were some Roman objects to look at from the handling collection and various colouring and craft activities.
“The bracelet and armband making proved very popular. Although using silver foil was easier, quite a few people tried the harder option of gold leaf.
“This looked wonderful but was rather fiddly and did mean there was quite a bit of gold on tables, floor and fingers.
“The museum was very busy all week with lots of people having a go at the weaving activities in the Inner Sounds exhibition.
“We are now looking forward to our next events, Museum Explorers are looking at the Solar System on May 5, followed by all our half-term activities.
