POLICE investigating a report that a 21-year-old woman was seriously sexually assaulted in Alton earlier this month have released an e-fit image of a man they want to speak to.

The victim was approached by three men close to an alleyway in Chauntsingers Road, between 11pm on Wednesday, November 16, and 1am the following morning.

The woman reported that one of the men sexually assaulted her.

The man is described as white and aged between 45 and 50. He was thought to be around 5ft 8ins tall and of large build with a round face, wrinkles around the eyes and forehead, a bump on the bridge of his nose, “rotten looking” teeth, and short stubble. His hair was said to be dark, spikey, “grubby” and very greasy. His hands were also “very dirty”, and he was wearing a large coat with a low, flat collar and dark jeans.
