USERS of Weavers Down have been urged to make sure gates are closed after a mass breakout of a herd of cattle from the Longmoor Ranges last Sunday.

Alerted by the Foley Estate that the cows and their calves were on their way, residents in Griggs Green managed to halt them and turn them back before they could reach the Longmoor Road.
