ALL summer long Kerry Moss has been rehearsing for her big moment – participating in the opening ceremony of the Paralympics - and she was not disappointed.
Kerry, from Liphook, performed in the 'sea section' group, which made up the crescent moon, and was one of 98 'whirl' dancers, forming part of the 305 strong navigation group.
After 13 rehearsals, the last one taking place at the Olympic Stadium, on August 26, nothing could prepare her for the overwhelming atmosphere on opening night.
Kerry said: "It was the most fantastic feeling, no words can describe it. It was an epic, sensational, once-in-a-lifetime event and one of the best experiences I will ever have."
