CHILDREN at Hollycombe School were focusing on design technology during their DT Enrichment Week.

Each class took up a different theme.

Pupils in class one made puppets out of old socks and decorated them.

Youngsters in class two concentrated on the Victorians and made an assortment of items like picture frames, decoupage boxes, thaumotropes, jumping jacks, pop-up puppets, scarecrows and purses.

Class three experimented with "Diorama" where they used shoe boxes to design a 3D interior of their proposed new classroom which is being built next year.

All the children's work was on display for parents to view during the School's open afternoon last Friday.
