BRAMSHOTT and Liphook Parish Council is paying solicitors £200 per hour in its continuing battle with clerk Tony Groves, who was suspended last September.
During last month's parish council meeting, Bill Mouland queried a payment of £1,560 made by the council in November to "boutique" law firm SW19, based in London.
The former Fleet Street journalist asked for clarification as to when they were appointed - as there were no written details - and what their charges were for.
