THIS year's production of Aladdin by the the Methodist Amateur Dramatics Company (MAD) brought the curtain down for its musical director Chris Booth.
Vanessa Breach, writer and director, said after last week's three performances at Bohunt School: "Each show relies on the dedicated input of so many people, to whom every year I say a huge thank you.
"This year I must say a special thank you to Chris, who is retiring after many years with us. Chris has given so much to The MAD Company. We love her for it and thank her from the bottom of our hearts.
"We now have the task of finding a new pianist – if you would like to help us on as many Monday nights as you can from September to February we would love to hear from you. My final thank you must be to our audiences, many of whom come year after year – thank you for supporting us and we hope you had fun!"
