HOME-START WeyWater is looking for a new chairman.

An independent charity serving Alton, Bordon, Liphook and the surrounding villages, Home-Start WeyWater recruits and trains volunteers to offer practical and/or emotional support to parents who are finding parenting a struggle.

The group is looking for a chairman to lead an enthusiastic and hardworking board.

The chairman would be responsible for setting the direction and strategy of the scheme, ensuring the board fulfils all legal requirements and is compliant with Home-Start UK. He or she would be responsible for the implementation of decisions taken at meetings, liaising regularly with senior members of staff, trustees and volunteers, and will offer support and guidance.
