CHALLENGE friends, family and colleagues to go the extra mile for Meningitis Now – the country’s largest meningitis charity.

There is only one rule – you have to travel a mile. How you do it, is up to you – it can be on a space hopper, dressed as a superhero, pushed along on an office chair, a swim or simply a walk and on a date that suits you.

As well as having miles of fun, sponsorship and donations will raise funds for charity Meningitis Now – making a difference in the fight against meningitis through research, support services and lifesaving awareness.

“We’d love you to join us. This really is an event that anyone can get involved in,” said Beth Bottrill, the group’s director of fundraising. “We provide free event packs which have everything you need to make your event a success.”

Once signed up, you’ll receive a fundraising pack including everything you need to get started such as a fundraising guide bursting with inventive ideas, poster, stickers, medals and sponsorship forms.

All proceeds will go towards the charity’s work fighting meningitis.
