EVERY few years Liphook Junior School select a working party of pupil representatives from each class, who get all the children to nominate a charity they wish to support.
This year Liphook Junior School pupils voted in favour of the NSPCC which has merged with Childline, as their chosen charity and during a special assembly, the charity's representative, Mandy Elton, explained what the NSPCC does.
The children showed great enthusiasm in plans to get involved in various fundraising events, which will be initiated by them and be the responsibility of their chosen working party committee.
They are already full of ideas for more events in the coming weeks, to ensure that they can present a cheque to Mrs Elton, when she returns for another visit during the summer term.
