KEEN gardeners will get the chance to go wild at Gilbert White’s House in Selborne on Saturday.

The occasion is a wild gardening event headed by David Standing, the East Hampshire tourist attraction’s head gardener, who who has more than 37 years’ experience in the museum gardens.

Running from noon to 3pm, the course will include an introduction to wild gardening, information on how to create your own wild garden, a tour of Gilbert White’s garden, and an open forum to discuss what you have learned and how you can apply this to your own garden.

The event includes light refreshments and a chance to visit the museum after the course.
