THE DOORS of a Petersfield institution will be officially opened to the public this weekend by the town’s mayor.
The number 13 has been a lucky one for The Centre of Complimentary Medicine as their move from Lavant Street has been a success.
An open event will take place this Saturday to celebrate the move with Cllr JC Crissey cutting the ribbon at 13b Dragon Street at 10am.
Practitioners will give talks, taster sessions and demonstrations about their “healing modalities” from 10am until midday.
The newest member is Shamanic practitioner and healer, Rose Autumn, who will talk about the ancient healing art of Shamanism and how it can boost health, vitality and well-being.
“We’ve got six treatment rooms, double glazing and more space – it’s all singing, and all dancing,” said centre director and practice manager, Shanagh Telford.
