RAIL bus-link campaigner Adam Carew is calling on local authorities in East Hampshire to take drastic action to improve bus services in the district.

The Liphook to Bordon rail-link bus axed by South West Trains on May 18 was replaced with extended 13 and 18 bus services by Stagecoach.

But Mr Carew, who believes that the decision to axe the rail-link bus was made a long time ago by SWT, feels that these are grossly inadequate.
