BLUEBIRD Care, which provides home and live-in care in Alton and Alresford, celebrated turning three this week by inviting customers to a morning of fun at a Macmillan ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’ event.

It was held at Bluebird Care’s Cross and Pillory Lane office in Alton, where customers enjoyed singing Vera Lynn’s White Cliffs of Dover, John McCormack’s Long Way to Tipperary and Reinald Werranrath’s Pack up your Troubles among others tunes.

The singing was led by Bluebird’s community care team who chauffeured customers to the event before serving them tea, coffee and cake.

It has been a momentous year for the firm, which in the past 12 months has created a Bluebird Career Pathway for its employees, launched Bluebird openPASS (an app enabling family members to view their loved ones’ care notes), celebrated their oldest customer living in Alresford turning 104, and been being rated Overall Outstanding by the Care Quality Commission.
