A COUPLE who were woken when a car careered through the front wall of their ground-floor flat had a miraculous escape.

The unnamed pair had to be rescued by firefighters after the silver Ford Focus smashed through the window and brickwork, trapping them in the debris of the flat in Moss Court in Portsmouth Road, Liphook, early on Sunday morning.
