THE Liphook Millennium Centre management committee has announced a host of new and exciting events between now and Christmas.

The first is a fun roller-skating event which is to be held during the school half-term holidays on Friday, October 30, when the main hall will be turned into a roller-skating rink between 10am and noon.

There is no need to book, this activity suits any age and all equipment is provided. The cost is £3 per person.

On Sunday, November 8, the Millennium Centre film committee will be showing the latest Disney blockbuster Inside Out, two months before it comes out on DVD. The film starts at 3pm and a tuck shop will also be open.

Tickets cost £5, concessions £4, and a family ticket for two adults and two children is £15, available from the parish council office in Midhurst Road and on the door.

On Friday, November 27, the first of the new “Food and Film” nights takes place when moviegoers can enjoy classic love story Breakfast at Tiffany’s on the big screen while enjoying cocktails and canapes. Screening starts at 7.30pm. and tckets are £7, concessions £6, again available from the parish council office and on the door.

Christmas arrives early at the Millennium Centre Cinema this year.

On Sunday, December 20, the classic family Christmas movie Elf will be shown at 3pm and will be accompanied by hot chocolate – with marshmallows – mulled wine for adults and mince pies.

Tickets are £5, concessions £4 and a family ticket for four costs £15, available shortly from the parish council office and on the door.

In addition, there are plans to hold an outdoor Christmas food market on Saturday, December 5.
