TWO NEW businesses opened at The Shed in Bordon last week.

SHACK – the latest outlet from 4U2U Group Ltd, owners of Stuff’d and 350 Burgers – opened last Thursday.

SHACK managing director Dayne Cartwright said: “We serve delicious chicken, wings and wedges with your choice of lip-smackin’ sauces and drinks.”

Little Acorn Sweet Treats opened at 10am on Saturday. Owners Rebecca and Jan Horrell-Tidbury also own Oak Tree & Acorn – The Shed’s gift and interiors emporium – which is next door to the sweet shop.

With a nod to the classic school tuck shop, pick and mix, jar sweets, chocolates, American sweets, classic shop sweets and soft drinks are all on sale.

James Child, project lead at Whitehill & Bordon Regeneration Company, said: “We are so pleased to be bringing forward more new incredible offers within our first town-centre project.

“We are very proud to be supporting local businesses and providing a hub in which they can grow, as well as providing the public with a place they can relax and enjoy good food, shop and be entertained with family and friends.

“These additions expand the offer further and build on what we know works at The Shed: a destination where the produce is local and the shopping is social.”
