A DETACHED bungalow in Upper Farringdon put up for auction on November 3 was sold without needing to go under the hammer.
Bella Vista in Church Road was among 105 lots across southern England listed by regional land and property auctioneers Clive Emson.
Rob Marchant, Clive Emson’s Hampshire auctioneer, said: “An offer was made to the seller before the auction, which the seller accepted.
“The property had been listed with a guide price of £500,000-plus.
“The bungalow, standing on 0.24 acres, is in need of some upgrading and refurbishment and is considered worthy of the improvements required.
“As the name of the property suggests, there is a most attractive vista to the rear over open countryside.”
Clive Emson’s next auction, the last of eight this year across southern England, takes place on December 15.
Entries for lots close on November 22 and the catalogue is online from November 26.
