A band called 5Ts Brass – featuring three former professional Army musicians plus two who worked in information technology – will mark Armistice Day on November 11 with a concert at The Phoenix Theatre and Arts Centre in Bordon at 7.30pm.

The quintet are so named because all their instruments start with the letter T – trumpeters John Sayer and Phil Graham, trombonists Stephen Kerry (alto) and Dave Robson (tenor), and tuba player Len Tyler, their composer.

A Phoenix spokesperson said: “The quintet will delight with arrangements of light classical pieces, folk songs and some more recent popular pieces, as well as original compositions for brass ensemble.”
