BLUEBIRD Care managing director Norman Murphy has been asked to represent the whole of the UK Home Care sector by speaking on an expert panel of esteemed guests.
This follows Bluebird Care Alton and Alresford becoming Hampshire’s first and only “overall outstanding” care quality commission-rated home care provider in February.
This is part of the UK Home Care Association’s (UKHCA) annual conference and will take place at Leicester City Football Club’s King Power Stadium next Friday, November 11.
Norman will be joined by other panel speakers, including Mike Padgham, chairman of the UKHCA, policy and campaigns director Colin Angel, and Andrea Sutcliffe, chief inspector of adult social care for the care quality commission across England.
Mr Murphy, who co-owns the company with wife Claire, said: “It’s an honour to have been asked to speak on this panel and I am delighted that our outstanding home care service is receiving national recognition.
“Our aim when we first set out was to achieve an overall outstanding care quality commission rating, and I am looking forward to sharing ideas with substantial figures throughout the home care industry.”
