Dreaming of a green Christmas as Petersfield group offers discounted fruit treesTo reflect the significance of the occasion, the hall last Thursday was patriotically decorated and it is expected that the evening will have raised more than £1,000 for distribution to local charities.
Around 100 quiz fans attended the evening answering questions on Royalty and the Commonwealth set by Chris and Carol Meech, from Liphook Travel.
A raffle was held for some excellent prizes including generously donated meals at The Links Tavern and The Deer’s Hut together with a voucher from Home Farm Slot Car Racing, while tasty food was prepared by the wives and partners of LiDBA members.
At the conclusion of the evening the best decorated table prize was won by Liphook Scouts and the best dressed quizzer, heading The Frosties team, featured Barbara Frost wearing a stunning head dress.
The main team prize was won by the Liphook Village Hall group who were the proud recipients of a bottle of wine for each member.
