LIPHOOK and District Businessmen's Association rounded off another successful annual bike ride with its charities evening, at which funds raised were distributed across 64 charities and causes.

Chairman Bernard Bayly said the total raised was £43,036, compared to £52,081 last year, due to one of the wettest summers in a long time, which had less riders take part.

Over the last 22 yearsm the charity bike ride has raised more than £860,000 for charities and good causes.
