COUNTY councillor Adam Carew has set up an action group to save the Bordon-Liphook rail bus link which is set to be axed in the middle of May.
Following last week's announcement that the bus service which enables commuters from the Bordon area to travel to Portsmouth, Brighton and Southampton, as well as the rest of West Sussex and London's Waterloo, by train, the prospective Lib Dem MP for East Hampshire has called for a meeting of bus and rail passengers who want to campaign against its axing.
