Avis, who cut the ribbon to restart bar service at the 500-year-old pub, can trace her family history connection to the listed Green Dragon - back to 1700.
She has lived in Liphook all her life and was delighted to perform her official duty as guest of honour.
Landlady Debbie Law and her team had their hands full after the official opening, when dozens of former regulars and many new customers came along to celebrate The Green Dragon rising from the ashes.
