The local branch of Home-Start Hampshire was the latest recipient of a £500 donation from the Traidcraft coffee morning, held every Tuesday at Alton Methodist Church.
Run jointly by members of the Methodist church and the Parish of the Resurrection and friends, it donates all its profits to local charities.
The cheque was presented to Jo McGregor, a group co-ordinator, by Pauline Gibbs, a regular volunteer at the coffee mornings.
Also present were Ann Foulkes, Mary Braitch and Sue Dell from the area team.
Home-Start is a national charity which offers practical and emotional support to families with under school-age children.
