Headley masons go the whole hog for East Hampshire charitiesVisitors from as far afield as Southampton and Kent, as well as local enthusiasts and families, enjoyed a selection of exhibits by members of the club and visiting exhibits. There was also the usual international display, with layouts representing the UK, United States and Germany – set over the last 120 years of railway history.
Club secretary Nick Harling said: “Yet again, the club has managed to attract some high quality visiting layouts, as well as being lucky enough to have members who can produce some excellent modelling.
“We were delighted to see a number of familiar local faces again this year, and hope to have helped provide inspiration for those visiting for the first time, who may be looking for a full and varied hobby.”
The club has been in existence for 53 years, and continues to play an active role in promoting the hobby - both locally and nationally.
Members meet every Friday evening at the Milland Valley Memorial Hall, Iping Road, between 8pm and 10pm.
