A SECOND teenager has died ten weeks after a fatal crash.

The teenager, who has been named as William (Billy) Robinson, 17, was travelling in a Volkswagen Polo which collided head-on with a taxi travelling in the opposite direction in Oxenden Road, Tongham, just after 1am on September 26.

The teenager, who was travelling in the front seat at the time of the collision, was taken to hospital, where he died as a result of his injuries last Friday (December 3).

Detective Sergeant Kani Barawi said: “Our thoughts remain with the families of the boys involved in this tragic incident, which has resulted in the deaths of two teenagers.

"Our investigation into the circumstances of the crash remains ongoing. We respectfully ask that the families involved are given the privacy and time they need.”
